The Secret Kundalini – Inner Mother & Feminine Potential

Within the Sacrum (sacred) bone, named as such by the Greeks 2,500 years ago lies a potential energy known in the Indian tradition as Kundalini. This kundalini (coiled) energy lies dormant at the base of the spine, within the sacrum bone, awaiting the pure desire of the seeker to invite & trigger her awakening.

Known as a feminine energy akin to an inner mother she lies asleep awaiting the individuals desire for her to wake-up. Once awakened she rises or resurrects, travelling from the base of the spine to the top (crown) of the head.

In making that ascent, she activates the various chakras (energy centres) lying along the spine nourishing, clearing & enlivening those centres.

Upon reaching the crown of the head where the fontanelle bone resides, she has the inbuilt quality to ‘break through’ and establish a connection with the universe on a subtle level. This connection is know as Yoga & the process of becoming is know in Sahaja Yoga as Self Realisation. Sahaja Yoga itself means inborn or spontaneous union or connection.

The naming speaks to the actualisation that occurs, an actualisation that each individual is invited to verify for themselves, using the apparatus provided in the human nervous system to do so.

This evolutionary & spiritual breakthrough signals the beginning of a new awareness whereby one is no longer limited or imprisoned within the individual consciousness governed by the faculties of ego & conditioning.

Rather one is able to go beyond the wonderful, yet often limiting mental faculties of the headset, beyond mind & thought to enter into a state of thoughtless awareness, know in thew Indian tradition as Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

This actuality is accomplished not through human exertion, effort or focus. Nor through mental acrobatics or intellectual acuity. It is achieved through a process of pure desire & surrender whereby the awakened kundalini herself ‘does all the doing’ and facilitates our entering into the state of thoughtless awareness, through her magical inbuilt properties.

Those properties have been referred to through the ages in scriptures, poetical works, spiritual guidance and wisdom writings.
