Sahasrara Chakra – the 7th Chakra – Free Meditation London
The Sahasrara Chakra, the 7th chakra, located at the crown of the head, corresponds with the fontanelle bone, is said to have 1,000 petals and is also associated with the functioning of the Limbic area, whose purpose is said to be of causing one to experience bliss. It opens when the ascending Kundalini reaches it having travelled up the central Sushumna nadi/channel. It was opened on a cosmic level on Tuesday May 5th 1970, after which normal human beings could achieve Self Realisation/Yoga en-masse. This effectively marks an evolutionary breakthrough in human attention/consciousness, allowing those that experience this awakening to go beyond the faculties of the mind and experience the still point which is thoughtless awareness or true meditation. It happens effortlessly & spontaneously (Sahaja) if the individual expresses a heartfelt pure desire to achieve this awakening.
