Free Meditation Classes in Glasgow

Springtime Resolutions?

Time to clean out the old, and bring in the New – with something unique and special!

The latest buzzword is – MEDITATION; it’s the new corporate mantra, and it is everywhere – swinging on the laptops, palmtops and tablets; humming on the monolithic mainframes, crooning from a Bluetooth to a satellite phone; in a quiet spot, in a noisy square, busy or free, crowded or not. You can meditate with words, meditate with nature, meditate with exercises, meditate with silence, meditate with music; the word meditation is everywhere, with a dazzling variety of meditation techniques.

BUT WHICH IS THE RIGHT ONE?

Just two points to consider for starters:

It should be free of charge: It is the birthright of every human being to enjoy the numerous benefits meditation can bring to your health and well-being – and that is why your meditation technique of choice should be free.

You should personally feel the benefits of the technique. It should feel good!

Sahaja Yoga Meditation is natural, easy, powerful – and public programmes around the world are always free.

We offer classes at different times throughout the year – to find out more please see our Glasgow Meet Up Page:

http://www.meetup.com/Free-Meditation-Yoga-Glasgow/

To be in meditation is something to be experienced! It is a unique, absolutely amazing feeling. With regular practice of this simple meditation technique one is able to feel and notice increased vitality in every aspect of one’s daily life; often over a short period of time. Words are simply inadequate to describe it – one must come and experience it in person.

Join as a complete beginner! Topics to be covered in this intensive course shall include:

– Experiencing yoga spontaneously

– How to meditate, and balance yourself

– The main chakras, and cleansing techniques

– Learn how to give others ‘self-realisation’, i.e., the experience of yoga

For a comprehensive grounding in the basics, we recommend completing the full course. At the same time, each class will include an introduction for beginners, and a guided meditation – and can be taken as an independent module. So, if you are not able to attend every class, you are quite welcome to attend those that you can. You won’t have to ‘catch up’. You will be able to meditate at home from your first meeting onwards, and can continue meditating in a group, which is quite a powerful experience.

What to expect

Each week’s class will include various presentations, and hands-on demonstrations. You will have the opportunity to find out more in the question and answer sessions, or by speaking personally to one of the instructors. (Michael, Sandeep, Mira, Lorraine and team)

At the meeting, there will be no bending and stretching type physical exercises – participants will be seated comfortably throughout (as such, a yoga mat or any other type of equipment is not required). The classes are conducted in a relaxed setting, and have a friendly atmosphere.

With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we normally sit on chairs to achieve yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. So there is no need for mats and no special clothing required.

No need to register. All you have to do is turn up on the day, and make yourself comfortable. Please feel free to bring along any friends and family.

MeetUp:

It is for evechakra-chart-150x150ryone, free of cost, with a very simple demonstration with  which even a child can master it. So why not try it now?

So, whatever you decide for 2015 and beyond – remember you are always welcome to join us and… learn to meditate!

However, it is a DIY (Do – it – Yourself) experience. No one can do it for you. You have to have the desire and motivation to actually give yourself a little time and be patient with yourself.

Our classes run throughout the year:

Keep an eye out for classes in your local area, and pop in whenever you wish! If your ever in London, you can attend any one of the free meditation programmes across London and the UK at your leisure.

Sahaja Yoga

Sahaja Yoga meditation is natural and easy. Each day of the course shall include a structured guided meditation. In this way, you will both experience meditation, and be able to start meditating at home from the first day you start.
